PANEL : Shapeshifting between Physical and Virtual Worlds in (Post-)Crisis Times

The development of technologies and engagement formats that transcend physical and virtual worlds has been greatly accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. While many anticipated the return to "normal", a return to encounters in the physical realm, with great excitement, what remains as the residue of two hybrid years? Is the shape-shifting between physical and virtual worlds the "new (post-)crisis normal"? A contingency plan for anticipated future times of crisis? An effort in world-building despite times of crisis?

This panel discussion on the shifting shapes of cultural encounters brings together curators, artists, and producers that are at the forefront of investigating and driving new forms of engagement in reaction to a world, which seemingly is always in a post-crisis state.
