WORKSHOP (EN + FR): A Sustainability Toolkit for the Event Industry

The music ecosystem has resolutely adopted a greener voice in the past few years. Globally, organizations, festivals, promoters and artists have reached across industry lines to varying extents, sharing solutions, attempts and data to ease the ecological transition. The return of events and touring is also matched by mounting prices, adjusted consumer habits, and increased scrutiny on one’s measures to match the climate crisis urgency. Whether your project or organization is in a beginner or intermediate phase of mitigating its ecological impact, this non-judgmental and open workshop aims to share tangible data from national and international case studies, providing both artists and event-industry stakeholders with concrete, customs tools to overcome challenges related to environmental practices. Come with your issues, leave with positive insights and courses of action.

Hexagram-UQAM room: The room SB-4105 is located on the 4th floor of the Pavillon des Sciences Biologiques at UQAM (141, avenue du Président-Kennedy). The entrance to the building is on the southwest corner facing Kimberley Street and is wheelchair accessible. The elevators are located on the left as you enter. The nearest metro station is Place-des-Arts which has a ramp. Accessible toilets are available at the entrance of the room.
